NOVA SBE Space Week

NOVA SBE Space Week is a week-long celebration of space education, innovation, and industry engagement at NOVA School of Business & Economics. It brings together professionals, academics, policymakers, and students to explore the commercial, educational, and technological opportunities in the rapidly growing space sector.

The week begins with the Space for Business executive programme — an international initiative designed to help professionals from any field, with no technical background required, understand the commercial potential of space and apply space-based solutions to create real value for their organizations.

Following the executive programme, the Space Education Summit 2026 takes center stage on Friday and Saturday, featuring keynotes, panel discussions, student case presentations, and interactive sessions.

The week also highlights Nova SBE’s commitment to building a strong space ecosystem in Portugal:

• Graduation Ceremony — celebrating participants of the advanced Space Economy training programme, delivered as part of the PRR New Space Portugal project
• Alumni Networking — an informal, invitation-only gathering for graduates of Nova SBE’s Space programmes, fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange

Together, Space Week combines education, networking, and innovation, positioning Portugal as a vibrant hub in the global space economy.
