The Space Education Summit 2026 will take place on 22 and 23 May in Carcavelos, at NOVA School of Business & Economics, as part of NOVA Space Week.

This meeting serves as a catalyst for capacity building and knowledge dissemination within the national space sector, in alignment with WP6 of the New Space Portugal project.

Over the course of two days, the programme will include keynotes, panel discussions, presentations and collaborative initiatives, bringing together international leaders, policymakers, academics, industry representatives and students from the consortium’s schools, fostering an integrated vision of space education, innovation and the space economy.

The Summit aims to strengthen Portugal’s vision as an active hub within the global space ecosystem.

Join us on this journey of learning, inspiration and impact, as together we work to drive the next phase of the Portuguese space industry.

This event is organised within the framework of the New Space Portugal project agenda, funded by the PRR – Recovery and Resilience Plan and by the European Union’s NextGenerationEU funds.

O Space Education Summit 2026 realiza-se nos dias 22 e 23 de maio, em Carcavelos, na NOVA School of Business & Economics, no âmbito da NOVA Space Week.

Este encontro serve como catalisador na construção de competências e na disseminação de conhecimento no setor espacial nacional, alinhado com o WP6 do projeto New Space Portugal.

Ao longo de dois dias, teremos desde keynotes, debates, apresentações e iniciativas colaborativas, reunindo líderes internacionais, policymakers, académicos, representantes da indústria e estudantes das escolas do consórcio, promovendo uma visão integrada da educação, inovação e economia do espaço.

A Summit pretende reforçar a visão de Portugal como um polo ativo no ecossistema espacial global.
